Stainless Steel Trench Drains

C. P. Eakes Company is an industry leader in supplying custom fabricated stainless steel trench drains. Our excellent fabricators will produce your drain requirements with precision and quality.

Sanitary processing plants require daily if not hourly wash down of processing equipment. Stainless steel trench drains have become a necessity to channel away unwanted surface water from processing plant floors.

Commonly produced from 12 Gauge (0.105) mill finish type 304 stainless steel, our drains are custom engineered for your specific application and length.

Typical designs include a more open profile that would require your choice of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, or fiberglass top inserted grating as shown in our detail "A". Or an alternate slot drain design that when installed in your concrete floor only shows a 1" wide flanged slot as shown in our detail "B".

Other drain components that we fabricate and supply on a regular basis include spot/area drains, collection boxes, strainer baskets, and floor sinks. Outlets would typically be from schedule 10 or schedule 40 stainless steel pipe.

Our in house design team figures most typical drain conditions with a standard 1/8" drop per foot, but that can be altered if your flooring thickness or other conditions require a more minimal drop.

(Please note: custom drain designs can be developed, please email us your specific requirements)
