Pressure Vessels

ASME Pressure Vessels

As a distributor of ASME Pressure Vessels, we provide our customers with the best carbon or stainless steel ASME approved pressure vessels when they need them, where they need them and for the right price. Pressure vessels are designed to hold liquids or gasses at elevated pressures (above atmospheric pressure). The models that we supply can be pressurized to as much as 400 psig. We distribute our vessels in all sizes up to 50000 gallons. Customized specifications such as orientation, fitting type, size and placement and lining/coating options provide our customers with a top-rated pressure vessel to meet their containment needs.

All ASME Pressure Vessels are shipped to our customers fully assembled and pressure tested.

Industry Certifications

Vessels meet ASME Pressure Vessel Code and are registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Inspectors. ASME certified welders and welding materials are used to fabricate these tanks.

Quality Control Standards for Pressure Vessels

  • Third-Party authorized inspector must check:
    • Drawings, calculations and checklists prior to fabrication;
    • Fit-up of vessel prior to welding;
    • Final weld inspection;
    • Witness hydrotest;
    • Sign checklist and "U" form;
  • All materials must be properly identified:
    • Plate, heads, structural steel, pipe, etc. must be identified and be traceable to a mill test report;
    • Miscellaneous pressure parts such as couplings, flanges, etc. must have proper markings such as material grade, size, etc;
  • All welders and weld procedures must be qualified to ASME Section IX. A log must be kept to continue the welders' qualifications.
  • All tanks are hydrostatically tested by filling with water, removing all air and pressurizing the tank to 1.3 times the maximum allowable working pressure.
  • An ASME "U" form is signed by the manufacturer's representative and third-party Authorized Inspector and a copy filed with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, the customers and if the installation location is noted on the U-form, the state in which the vessel is being installed.
