Laser Cutting for Stainless Steel Washers/Nuclear Power Plant Industry


We received an urgent call from a contractor onsite at a nuclear power plant in the southeast U.S. The contractor had inherited a project that was months behind schedule, and was under tremendous pressure to start installing 10000 laser cut stainless steel washers in just four days.

Because of our access to materials, and our laser cutting expertise, we were able not only to locate and take delivery of the correct material, but we also laser cut a partial shipment and had it onsite for the contractor within 30 hours. One day later, we shipped the remaining washers, along with material certifications, drawings, technical data for LEED certification, and other submittal data. The contractor received all of the washers in only three days, a full day before the very rushed deadline.
